Run a XM MT5 trading bot in the cloud, no VPS
mt5.bot hosts XM's own MetaTrader 5 terminal for your account and runs the strategy you choose around the clock. You keep full control of the account, strategy and risk settings.
How to connect your XM account
- Find your MT5 account number and the exact server name in your XM client area, or in the email XM sent when you opened the account.
- Use the account's trading password (not the password for the XM website). You can reset it in the client area if you don't have it.
- Sign in to mt5.bot, choose XM, enter the account number, trading password and server, and press Connect. The connection usually takes 10 to 60 seconds.
XM server names
The server name must match exactly, including capitals and numbers. Examples for XM: XMGlobal-MT5, XMGlobal-MT5 2, XMTrading-MT5.

Do I need a VPS or to keep my computer on?
No. The XM MT5 terminal for your account runs on our servers around the clock.
How is my trading password stored?
It is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is stored and is only decrypted on our servers to log the terminal in. It is never shown back in the app.
What happens if your service goes down?
Every order the bot opens carries a stop-loss held at XM, so an open position stays protected even if our service is interrupted.
